The fact that there are many limitations of the current classification systems led to emergence transdiagnostic approaches (TA) focus on common psychopathological processes underlying disorders rather than categorical diagnoses. TA focuses in and persistence mental disorders. Thus, even if categorically diagnosed differently, it can be determined how they overlap or separate with each other. aims treat using these aspects. has a flexible modular structure easily integrated into cognitive behavioral therapies. rest this review will Unified Protocol (UP), one most popular examples. main purpose UP is enable patients recognize their feelings give more adaptive reactions negative emotions. Accordingly, consists eight modules. modules usually completed total 11 - 17 weeks. Each 50 60-minute individual session held once week. If necessary, changes made number frequency sessions allocated goals module treatment towards allow very clearly defined approach.
